3. Click on the Repair your computer link at the bottom left.
4. Select Troubleshoot, Advanced Options, and Command Prompt in order.
5. Type wmic logicaldisk get name and press Enter.
6. Type dir C: and press Enter. Replace C with another driver letter if it's not your system drive that contains the "Windows" folder.
7. Type C: and press Enter.
8. Type mkdir C:\Scratch and press Enter.
9. Type DISM /Image:C:\ /ScratchDir:C:\Scratch /Cleanup-Image /RevertPendingActions and press Enter.
